Did you make anything this week? Or have you been instead revamping some of your older handmade pieces to wear in new way for Me Made May?
I’ve been posting my Me Mades this year daily on Instagram @sewcountrychick
It seems the party has mostly moved over to Instagram for Me Made May, but I would love to see any of your blog posts about it linked up here! But now you can link up your Instagram photos too in my in the In Linkz program.
I started doing in 2011, when I first started sewing my own wardrobe and read about it from So Zo, the mastermind behind the idea.. That first year it was hard to play along because I didn’t have that many handmade things to wear yet, but now it’s easy finding things, and it’s been great digging things out that I haven’t worn in a long time, because I usually just throw on some boring jeans and t- shirt or workout pants. It’s fun to get dressed up!
Have you been working on your summer wardrobes? I’m working on a series of pieces made in luxury fabrics using only patterns bought at Wal Mart. It’s a fun project and I’m actually quite surprised how much I like these under three dollar patterns.
So link away friends!
